Almost perfect, but not quite

video

Not too shabby for a 21 month old, eh? It looks like those multiple hours she has spent chained to a cellar wall whilst we scream the numbers at her germanically have done this kid good! Next up, the alphabet, which she denies all knowledge of. Toddlers are such slackers these days.

What should I think considering she said "Nein! Nein!" ?

Awesome!

Nick can count to two, and does so all day long. All. Day. Long.

Yay! Maybe she gets her amazing powers from her mullet.

Go, baby genius!

Excellent! I love how excited she sounds.

Yes, but does she actually STOP at the appropriate number? In my house, the kid counts to 22, regardless of how many objects are actually put in front of her.

Awww!

Sarge was behind me watching this, shouting Nine! Nine! with her. We were both entertained. :-)

Aww, man. Now I've got to spend the rest of the week trying to teach lil' G how to count to NEIN! so I don't feel like a slacker mom. Or.... I could just let her keep watching cartoons while I finish my work project. Yep, cartoons it is!

I watched this like five times... how hilarious, I am so looking forward to this talking business.

Great to catch sight of the mullet again. :)

Awesome. So far the only number BG knows is "fee," as in, you say one, two, and she yells "FEE!"

yup, terribly, terribly talented. Of course, Pob is onto the greek alphabet already. But don't feel bad, I'm sure P will catch up.

God, and here I was all impressed because The Bug recognizes an O when she sees one. No other letters. Just O. "O, mama! O!" "Yes, honey, O." "O, mama, look! O!!" "Uh huh" and on and on and on.... Oy.

I'm particularly impressed by how well she pronounces each of the numbers!!

It looks like all you need to do to get more comments is to brag about your kid ;-)
