Meet P. Dirt

Have you ever seen the epic David Spade tour de force, Joe Dirt? No? I have. More than once. Oh, and I liked it. Guess what? I also like Dude, Where's My Car?, Saving Silverman, and Billy Madison. As you can see, I have a very sophisticated sense of humour.
P shares my love of low-brow comedy. That is why she has chosen to emulate Joe Dirt's fabulous hairdo.

Joe Dirt:

I present P's hair, what we call "Hommage à Joe Dirt":

Not only is she rocking the mullet like only the spawn of a central Pennsylvanian can, but she rocks the assymetrical mullet. Ah yes...the left side of her head features long flowing locks in the back, but the hair on the opposite side is about an inch and a half shorter. What a trendsetter this kid is.

P wants you to know that her slogan is "Business at the front, party in the back." Read it, digest it, live it.

As a current central Pennsylvanian, I may need to take offense at that. Luckily my daughter is being her own trendsetter by sporting a mohawk these days.

For some reason my browser isn't loading the first picture, but P has one rockin' hairdo.

Isabella is rocking what I like to call "Early Maddox Pitt Jolie." Long, two inch strip right down the center of her head. Awesome.

If you've not seen it yet, your next rent should be "Accepted."

It's pretty much awesome.

I'm totally gonna make fun of your kid's mullet when I meet her.

Frak! I can't see the first picture of her, either. And I'm all about judging the quality of a mullet.

In spite of her chick-down head covering, she's rather cute so she can pull off the minor fashion faux-pas.

Well, someone has to like those movies. I guess. You and my husband, apparently.

In spite of the ShoLo do, she's adorable as all get out.

She is beautiful! Love her!

I'm afraid my kid is going to have the mullet too. She's already got the hair growing over her ears.

Pfft, whatever. The Mini was BORN with a mullet. We are TOTAL class.

I actually already gave him a hair cut because it was pissing me off. I mean, I don't want everyone to know we lack class.

William has the same thing. It's so much longer on his left side that it's almost like a lopsided rat tail. Sigh.

She is going to HATE you for calling her P. Dirt when she's older ;-)

SUCH a cutie, despite the mullet!

I have to say, that is the cutest damn mullet I have ever seen and she wears it so well!!! What a lovely face!

(P.S. I loved your comment about your Art History class. You are so right, there is always 'one' in those classes too. The list can go on and on, I am sure! Thanks for visiting, it is always nice to meet new people and expand my reading list!)

The mullet was also a popular statement in rural Maryland. You guys must have dripped it down onto us or something.

Wren is also sporting a mullet style 'do at the moment. It's all the rage with the under 1's these days.

I see you've trained her to use the Swiffer. Well done, you!

And you know, she's cute enough that she can get away with a mullet. You can take the girl out of America but not America out of the girl. :-)

David Spade? [shudder]

She's totally adorable, hair, no hair, mullet, no mullet, downy fuzz...

Oh that downy fuzz!

great 'do!!!!
Man, she's got gorgeous eyes, Pru!
And a great fuzzy head...

Looks like she is ready to kick some ass with that broom! The soft fuzzy head and big blue saucer eyes are deceptive...

also--lowbrow comedy--have you seen Knocked Up? Lots of jokes about butts and poo and balls and whatnot, and also a lot of hit-me-close-to-home stuff about relationships (for me, anyway). A good'un

lastly--my friend S just emailed me some recipes she made up for baby food--kind of healthy finger food. Perhaps I could see if she wants to contribute them to Mush???

Much, much better looking than David Spade. She can pull that mullet off.

First of all, I secretly love all of those movies. Billy Madison is on of my all-time favorites. Not proud, here.

Second, P. is gorgeous.

ps: Do you have any more gum? :)

Brilliant...I'm all about the mullets, too! Nothing like growing up in Albany, Georgia as a teenager.
