Happy holidays!

I was going to write a post comparing the holiday season in the UK to that of the US, but no time, no time! Instead, I leave you with this, the best contemporary Christmas song I can think of. Sorry Britons, through saturation you'll probably disagree!

Fairytale of New York, The Pogues with Kirsty MacColl:

Happy holidays you dear, dear mother suckers!

I "heart" David Bowie & Bing Crosby. If you have not already, you surely must YouTube it - it always makes me feel the X-mas spirit.

That is, by far, my favourite Christmas song. Evah. They never play it on the radio over here.

Happy holidays to you too Pru. May your fabulous snarky goodness expand and grow over 2008 and may Miss P and her gorgeous self continue to shine.

PS. Thankyou for organising the holiday card caper, always a thrill to get an envelope with one 'o them Foreign Stamps!
